Unforgetable Birth-Day

This is an unforgetable experience for myself and my family...*ha ha*

27th Oct 2006 - Well, the day went on as usual, back to work from the holidays and stuff. Trying to get things done and getting back on track after such a long break *lazy* Anyway, it felt kinda weird that day so went home for lunch. But after lunch, it felt even weird so I requested for half the day off. I thought once I got some sleep and rest, I would get better after that. But unfortunately, it went from bad to worse. I started to have a fever, dizziness, and even felt like vomitting. Ended up with diarhea instead. *bleah* :(

All I could practically do was either stay in bed or go to the bathroom and just keep on drinking water. ( I felt so sorry for the twins though, must've been really stressing for them) Well, there goes my 26th birthday. Sick, exhausted, and bed ridden for 2 days with nothing to eat but water...and slowly some porridge...*happy birthday to me* hahahahaha

Anyway, this is what a series of events that actually happened before and after....here goes~

My brother was the first to be hit by diarhea. We were suppose to drive home together from Penang to KL on 26th morning, but he landed up sick and stayed back in Penang, unable to travel. He eventually got better and got back to KL in one piece on Sunday morning with another friend. hahaha...he's now slimmer and *ahem* handsome...REALLY!!~

Secondly, was me. Then, turns out the lil monkey ended up the 3rd victim. She was half way asleep when suddenly she woke up vomitting. She couldn't eat or drink anything, practically vomitted anything she'd taken. We took her to a doctor and gave her some medicine. Luckily it helped her a lot and got better the next day. *phew*

On the next day, the maid was also having slight fever, then diarhea too. hmm.....really wonder what struck us. We really couldn't think of anything that has led to this unfortunate events, but we're just glad we're all over and through this together.

Moral of the story....PENANG IS EVIL !~~~ hahahahah....no lah...kidding...true moral of the story is, Food poisoning is dangerous. so be careful and be ready for it as best as possible.

And again....happy birthday to myself.... :P *muaks*

Moment of Truth

23 Sept 2006, 9:35am - the moment of truth finally came as I entered the doctor's room. as I laid there on the examination bed, the doctor walked in, the lights went dim. the room was as cold as usual, but this time with more suspense in it. the gel was smeared all over the belly area, and the doctor began to scan. 2 babies emerged on the screen and as expected, was actively awake and moving about. examining both babies, one at a time, they were said to be healthy and active. their heartbeats were heard through the speakers, as loud and fast as they beat. it was the most touching moment ever. before the end of the session, and usually around this time into the pregnancy (5 months), the doctor scanned again on the babies, one at a time, finding out the gender of the babies.

the results - 2 baby girls ~

Holiday in Penang

Happy "belated" merdeka...hahhaha...been busy travelling back to penang to spend quality time with the family. and of course a chance for the grandparents to spend time with their cute lil granddaughter. *sigh*

Anyway, the holiday was mostly spent with the family, like going for morning walks, breakfast & yamchar sessions....here's the list of food we've made and almost achieved...

- 1st day Loh Mee : full of the stuffings, chicken leg, pork meat, etc...somewhere in perak lane?

- 2nd day Roti Jala : our favourite breakfast at Pulau Tikus corner coffee shop besides Lady orchid tuition centre wan...

- 3rd day Hokkien Mee : waited for 50 mins for the freaking mee. had ordered some other stuffs while waiting though, like chee cheong fun & wantan mee (not bad, not bad...)

- 4th day Kueh Teow Teng : er...this wan the one at hutton lane...right? *forgot the road names* it's actually near to the Eden restaurant and the balai polis wan...a bit water down dee though

- Yamchar 1 : Apom & Pancake (island glades) yum yum ~~~ can't get good and cheap stuffs like this around in KL...nope nope...hahahah....

- Yamchar 2 : Ban Cheng Kueh (Tmn Free School nite foodcourt) the thickness and the stuffings were just right !! very diff from KL styles...*sigh* penang food ~~~ wat more can i ask for?

hmm...nothing much actually happened..EXCEPT that the lil monkey got her wish granted again...she managed to convince her "ah-mah" to get her a new bicycle *again*

Here's one on her new "bigger & better" bicycle...only 2 yrs old (goin to 3), shocked the grandparents and equally the uncle who sold this bicycle when they saw her actually cycling and paddling happily away...

Here's her having fun drawing / scribbling / or whatever you call it...(potential artist no?)

And her trying to look like making calls...

Overall, the holiday was well spent but a bit tired due to a bit lack of sleep over all the excitement...

Oh yea, must write a dedication to my "sailo" - CONGRATS!!~~ finally found a gf dee (and a good "catch" too, if i do say so myself) must be more confident and become better person dee lohh....;) hehehehe....
